Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked egg noodles, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil and sauté beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook onions and mushrooms until softened.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add beef broth and bring to a simmer, then stir in sour cream.
  5. Return beef to the skillet and heat through.
  6. Serve over egg noodles.
